MLB.com drops Silverlight and use Adobe Flash

After being a one of the most Silverlight famous customers. MLB Advanced Media said this Monday that it will move to use Flash Platform to deal with the both live and on-demond video services starting from the next year.

The MLB will put more than 1.5 million subscibers since 2003 in the hand of Adobe technology and its history as one of the largest video service company on the web.

New York Times launching AIR-based news reader

During the Keynote in Adobe MAX conference in San Francisco, New York Times Vice Present demonostrated the new news reader application based on AIR 1.5 which just released Monday.
While The predecessor for the news reader was heavy, the new application get advantages of the fast text rending in AIR and includes video capabilities of Flash 10 which is used by AIR 1.5.

Adobe MAX- Adobe to release Flash Player Alpha for 64-bit Linux
