Adobe Flash CS4 Classroom in a Book Review (By: Rafiq Elmansy) Many people ask me about what is the resource they should relay on when preparing for Adobe Certification exams. My answer is always the product help files, practice question and the Classroom in a Book series.

Adobe Classroom series is the official source and training guide if you are looking to take any of the Adobe products exam certification in addition to the product help files.

Adobe Flash CS4 Professional Classroom in a Book is part of this series and comes along with another part that is specialized in Action Script 3 to compound with each other the official source for exam preparation.

The classroom book takes you in practice steps to explore the basic features and panels in Adobe Flash CS4 and how to use these features. Understanding the tool is the key feature to use it and pass its questions in the real exam.

Each chapter concerns about specific part of the program. For example, the first chapter introduces Flash CS4. The second and third chapter concerns with working with the graphic elements and understanding symbols…etc.

The next chapters flow to cover each part of the program such animation, using navigation controls, working with components…etc.

Although this book may not be the best for someone do not know any thing about Flash, but it is a good book to get the well-understanding for the Flash CS4 tools and elements and how to use it.

Your suggestions are thoughtful and correct. Who best to study from but the Proctor of the exam itself. I must contend one thing though. You did not review the book.

You spoke about what the book covered, that there is a companion piece, and that the book series should be studied for ACE exams. You never gave a judgment or opinion on the book itself. Was it good? Did it cover the topics in an easy to understand manor? I read this page expecting that kind of information.

    BTW Nice blog.

Thanks alot for your notice, you are correct. I did not say what is the good and bad in the book, because actually I reviewed it from the aspect of exam study preparation resource. And it is the only official resource from Adobe. So, I thought it is useless to judge it since there is no other book to compare with or use as alternative.
