Goodwill Hunting & LCD Monitors

You know, you can get some good deals at Goodwill.  Even on electronics.  I've gone there several times in the past few months, getting everything from a mouse for my laptop to a perfectly-working wireless router.  But one thing I just can never find there are good LCD Computer Monitors.
What do I find instead?  I've seen several of those old Commodore 64 monitors...which actually work great for plugging in VCRs, but are useless for computing.  And for a mere $5 I could take home one of those old black and white CGA computers from the prehistoric days of around 1987.  But thus far, not a single Cheap LCD Monitor has landed at Goodwill or the Salvation Army or any of those other used-goods stores.  I suppose part of it is because these LCD Monitors, especially the better ones such as Samsung Monitors, are still considered cutting-edge. And not many people want to get rid of cutting edge stuff.  That's why you'll find loads of VCRs at Goodwill, but not many late model DVD players.
Don't get me wrong.  I still believe in Goodwill.  But when you really want to bring your computer up-to-date, you have to be willing to invest the necessary money. Fortunately this doesn't mean there aren't Cheap LCD Monitors available.  It just means that usually, they're found online - not so much as physical bricks-and-mortar stores. Specifically:
Cheap LCD Monitors can often be had at a fraction of their retail cost by shopping online. Keeping an eye open on Superwarehouse.com will land a few LCD Monitors bargains - you'll want to check back frequently, maybe not just once or twice.  When you find one, it will be a much better bargain than you would get at a brick-n-mortar store.
There are even a few discount retailers online, like Superwarehouse.com, where you can find Samsung Monitors and a host of other good LCD Computer Monitors for much less than you'd find them at places like Best Buy or Radio Shack. In fact, this is where I finally got mine from.  I decided if I'm going to invest in a top-quality monitor, I might as well have the peace of mind knowing that it's new and comes with a warranty. That's something you won't find at Goodwill. You will find it at Superwarehouse.com
