The current version of Adobe Flash Lite 3 on Adobe labs site let you test your Flash conent on mible devices before shipping it. This version fo Flash Lite is not locked to your mobile serial number nor requires you to provide the IMEI number of your mobile.
The is current version will be shipped on Nokia s60 mobiles by the first quarter of 2008. Till now, the developer edition only supports the stand alone applications.

- What is Adobe Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition?
- Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition is a standalone player for supported mobile phones to allow developers to test their Flash Lite 3 applications before commercial devices start shipping with the full version of Flash Lite 3 pre-installed. This installer only supports standalone content and cannot be used to view SWF files that are embedded in a mobile web browser or to test any type of personalization content such as wallpapers or screensavers.
- What does “Developer Edition” signify?
- This version of the Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition is not locked to the serial number of the device, you don’t have to provide your IMEI number to download the installer. This installer has a startup screen indicating that it is the Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition. Devices that will ship with Flash Lite 3 pre-installed will not have this start up screen in their standalone players.
- Why a Labs release?
- Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition is prerelease technology and not the final version of the Flash Lite 3 player that device manufacturers will port for shipping devices. Not all features are complete and the technology is still considered in development.
- When will the full/final version become available?
- At this time there’s no definitive date set for a final version of the Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition and we encourage developers to visit this page on an on-going basis to receive more information about any potential updates. The first shipping devices with Flash Lite 3 pre-installed will be DoCoMo’s 905i series, available now, and Nokia S60 models, which are scheduled to be available in Q1 2008.
- What will be the cost of Flash Lite 3?
- The Flash Lite 3 runtime will be pre-installed by OEMs onto production devices. There is no additional cost associated with Flash Lite 3 outside of the cost of the device to consumers.
- What phone models are supported?
- The Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition has only been certified by Adobe on the Nokia N95 (non-US 3G version). Technically it should work on any Nokia S60 3rd edition or later devices. Adobe has not certified Flash Lite 3 Developer Edition on any other Nokia S60 3rd edition devices and cannot guarantee that the player will work on them.
