As said in Mike Downey site, Adobe and BBC has entered a strategic relationship to use Flash in the up-coming iPlayer. The new BBC iPlayer will include a free parts of TV series and will use Flash streaming technology. The new player will be supported by Windows, MAC and Linux.

Yesterday, Dave Story, vice president of digital imaging product development at Adobe, has presents a new technology of lens that allow cameras to take a multi-angle shots that allow the images to get a depth and allow software to indentify the perspective in the image. The technology is built on the idea if insect complex eye. The new technology open the dreams to a new era of Photoshop that allow designers to edit images on the 3D concept.

Microsoft Expression around the clock

A couple of days ago I intended a session for Microsoft’s new graphic application, Expression Blend. This application that is suppose to compete Adobe Flash, the most known application for creating rich media and Rich Internet Applications.

Only 25% of the whole day session was a real cover to what can a design can do with Expression Blend, it was an example done by one of Microsoft designers. Anyway, my main concern is to see if this new software will really compete Flash or not. So, I asked the speakers why should the design who uses Flash for 7 years to migrate to Expression Blend. They all replied one answer The Designer/Developer Integration model. Actually, and this is the word that the session is built one, the Integration between designer and developer.

I told the speakers that if this is the case, I, as a designer, got 3 types of integration in Adobe products:
