Unlike color photographs, black and white photography has a special impact on the viewer’s eye and gives a more dramatic effect compared with similar colored photos. This many be the reason of why the black and white photography lasts till our recent days where there are colored images and digital media. While color photography uses different colors to show the image, black and white photography abstracts the image to use only one color. This gives the image a more dramatic effect especially when it depends on the light and shadows to take black and white photos.
