The annual Adobe MAX Awards is a global awards program that recognizes the best uses of Adobe software for creating engaging experiences. Submissions are being accepted now through July 31, 2009.
You may also nominate a project that is not yours. You must have the project name, project creator’s name, contact information and be able to determine which category it should compete in. This information will be reviewed by the 2009 MAX Award Team. Notification will then be sent directly to the project creator to officially enter the 2009 MAX Awards Contest. The deadline for nominations is June 30, 2009.
The top three finalists in each of eight categories will be invited to showcase their work at MAX 2009. Winners will be selected via online voting from September 21, 2009 to October 6, 2009. Winners will be announced live at the MAX event. Entrants are also eligible for Honorable Mention recognition that will be announced prior to the event.
Benefits
The MAX Awards program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable exposure for innovative projects that brought success to you or your clients’ organizations. Receiving a MAX Award is a prestigious honor recognized throughout the industry.
Award categories
Finalists and winners are selected in each of eight categories: Advertising & Branding, Education, Enterprise Productivity, Entertainment, Mobile, Public Sector, Social Computing, and Social Responsibility. For additional details to help select the most appropriate category for your entry, please see the Categories Tab.
Judging
New in 2009! Category winners will be selected from the category finalists by public online voting. All finalists will be carefully selected by the Adobe Judging Councils, one council for each category. Each Council consists of a team of Adobe experts and industry representatives with comprehensive knowledge about the category. The Judging Councils are also responsible for determining recipients of Honorable Mention recognition. For additional details about judging, see the Rules tab.
Deadline for entry
The 2009 MAX Awards deadline is Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11:59 pm PDT.
Client projects
If you are an agency or vendor that would like to nominate a client’s project for a MAX Award, we strongly advise that you enlist a stakeholder or manager from the organization that you are nominating to participate in your submission. Alternatively, you may submit the project with the appropriate details along with your client’s explicit authorization and approval.
