The macro photography and photomicrography take you behind the normal photography world to let you discover a wider world of beauty and inspiration that is measured with units as small as microns. This small world if full of inspirations and beauty.

This post is about this amazing world whatever the tool that took it. Here, I divided this world into two sections. the first one is photomicrography which uses microscopes, stereoscopes and dyes to take shots of fungus, bacteria, small insects and plants.

The second world is little bit larger and uses macro lenses and digital cameras to focus on the very small parts in every insect and plant around us and let us see the creativity behind it.

Photomicrography

When I was in collage, I used to study science materials such as microbiology, botany and insects. I was having an idea that these materials are far away from art and creativity. But I was totally wrong. After my first look at the microscope , I would myself looking to a totally new world that is full of colors and inspiring shapes. At this moment, I realized that I am standing in front of amazing world. The following collection is selected from Nikon Small World contest winners in different years.
